EP.1 : BROKEN ROADS TO WORLD STAGE | KIMA STORY
THE KIMA STORY
A boy from Mizoram learned to skate on his own; skating wherever he could, because there were no real roads to skate on.
Without realizing it, he mastered one of the world's hardest disciplines: freestyle skating.
Today, he's the only Indian ever invited to
compete internationally.
Why at play
supports kima
There is very little institutional support for emerging sustainable sports like skating. While the young athletes somehow figure a way to train themselves to elite-level progress, lack of access to finances often kills the dreams of more athletes than we can officially count.
We're here to try and do our part in changing that. We hope you do too.
